पापेन कर्मणा देवि वध्यो हिंसारतिर्नर: । अप्रिय: सर्वभूतानां हीनायुरुपजायते

Transliteration

pāpena karmaṇā devi vadhyo hiṃsāratir naraḥ | apriyaḥ sarvabhūtānāṃ hīnāyur upajāyate ||

Translation

தேவி! பாவச் செயலால் வன்முறையில் இன்புறும் மனிதன் கொல்லத்தக்கவனாகிறான்; எல்லா உயிர்களுக்கும் அருவருப்பானவனாகிறான்; குறுகிய ஆயுளுடன் பிறக்கிறான்.
