Śiva-darśana through Tapas and Stuti (उपमन्यु–कृष्ण संवादः)
उमोवाच एवं भविष्यत्यमरप्रभाव नाहं मृषा जातु वदे कदाचित् | भार्यासहस्राणि च षोडशैव तासु प्रियत्वं च तथाक्षयं च
umovāca—evaṁ bhaviṣyaty amaraprabhāva nāhaṁ mṛṣā jātu vade kadācit | bhāryāsahasrāṇi ca ṣoḍaśaiva tāsu priyatvaṁ ca tathākṣayaṁ ca ||
உமா கூறினாள்—“தேவர்களைப் போன்ற ஒளிமிக்கப் பெருமையுடைய கிருஷ்ணா! அப்படியே ஆகும். நான் ஒருபோதும் பொய் சொல்லேன். உனக்கு பதினாறு ஆயிரம் மனைவியர் இருப்பார்கள்; அவர்களிடத்தில் உன்பால் அன்பு அழியாது நிலைக்கும்; உனக்கு அழியாத செல்வவளம் உண்டாகும்.”
