सर्वभूतदया धर्मो न चैकग्रामवासिता । आशापाशविमोक्षश्न शस्यते मोक्षकाड्क्षिणाम्‌

Transliteration

sarvabhūtadayā dharmo na caikagrāmavāsitā | āśāpāśavimokṣaś ca śasyate mokṣakāṅkṣiṇām ||

Translation

மகேஸ்வரர் கூறினார்—மோட்சத்தை நாடுபவர்களுக்கு எல்லா உயிர்களிடத்தும் கருணை காட்டுதலே தர்மம். அவர்கள் ஒரே கிராமத்திலோ ஒரே தங்குமிடத்திலோ கட்டுப்பட்டு இருக்கக் கூடாது; மேலும் ஆசை, தாகம் எனும் பாசங்களை அறுக்க முயல வேண்டும். இதுவே முமுக்ஷுக்களுக்கு புகழப்படுவது.
