Adhyāya 142: Cyavana, the Devas’ Arrogance, and Vāyu’s Counsel on Protecting Brāhmaṇas
रामो दाशरथिश्वैव हुत्वा यज्ञेषु वै वसु । स गतो हाक्षयाँललोकान् यस्य लोके महद् यश:
rāmo dāśarathiś caiva hutvā yajñeṣu vai vasu | sa gato 'kṣayāṁl lokān yasya loke mahad yaśaḥ ||
பீஷ்மர் கூறினார்— தசரதனின் மகன் ராமன் யாகங்களில் பெருந்தொகை செல்வத்தை ஆஹுதியாக அர்ப்பணித்து, இவ்வுலகில் மாபெரும் புகழை நிறுவி, பின்னர் அழிவிலா உலகங்களை அடைந்தான்।
