Śiva-nāmānukīrtana-prastāvaḥ
Prologue to the praise of Śiva and the Upamanyu testimony
तत्राहमद्भुतान् भावानपश्यं गिरिसत्तमे । क्षेत्र च तपसां श्रेष्ठ पश्याम्यद्भुतमुत्तमम्
tatrāham adbhutān bhāvān apaśyaṁ girisattame | kṣetraṁ ca tapasāṁ śreṣṭhaṁ paśyāmy adbhutam uttamam ||
அங்கே அந்த மலைச்சிறந்த இடத்தில் நான் வியப்பூட்டும் நிலைகளையும் அறிகுறிகளையும் கண்டேன். மேலும் அந்த இடம் தவத்திற்கே அற்புதமான, உயர்ந்த, மிகச் சிறந்த க்ஷேத்திரமாக எனக்குத் தோன்றியது.
