Śiva-nāmānukīrtana-prastāvaḥ
Prologue to the praise of Śiva and the Upamanyu testimony
अरूपस्याद्यरूपस्य अतिरूपाद्यरूपिण: । अनाट्यन्तमजस्यान्तं वेत्स्यते को5स्य तत्त्वतः
arūpasyādyarūpasya atirūpādyarūpiṇaḥ | anāṭyantamajas yāntaṃ vetsyate ko 'sya tattvataḥ ||
அவர் உருவமற்றவர்—உருவமற்றவர்களிலும் ஆதியாய் இருப்பவர்; உருவத்தைத் தாண்டியவர், ஆயினும் எல்லா உருவங்களுக்கும் காரணமானவர். அவர் அஜன்—ஆதியும் அந்தமும் இல்லாதவர். அவரது தத்துவத்தை உண்மையாக யார் அறிய முடியும்?
