Umā–Maheśvara-saṃvāda: Varṇa-bhraṃśa, Ācāra (Vṛtta), and Karmic Ascent/Decline
देवतास्तस्य तुष्यन्ति कामिकं चापि सिध्यति । अन्यथा हि वृथा मर्त्याः कुर्वते स्वल्पबुद्धयः
devatās tasya tuṣyanti kāmikaṃ cāpi sidhyati | anyathā hi vṛthā martyāḥ kurvate svalpabuddhayaḥ ||
இவ்வாறு செய்பவனிடம் தேவர்கள் திருப்தியடைகிறார்கள்; அவனுடைய நியாயமான விருப்பமும் நிறைவேறும். ஆனால் குறைந்த அறிவுடையோர் இதைச் செய்யாமல் வீணாக வேறு வேறு செயல்களில் அலைகிறார்கள்.
