भीष्म उवाच शृणुष्वावहितो राजन्‌ धर्मगुह्दानि भारत । यथा हि भगवान्‌ व्यास: पुरा कथितवान्‌ मयि

Transliteration

bhīṣma uvāca śṛṇuṣvāvahito rājan dharma-gūḍhāni bhārata | yathā hi bhagavān vyāsaḥ purā kathitavān mayi ||

Translation

பீஷ்மர் கூறினார்— அரசே, பாரத குலத்தோன்றலே! கவனத்துடன் கேள். முன்காலத்தில் பகவான் வியாசர் எனக்குச் சொன்னதுபோல, தர்மத்தின் மறைநுணுக்கங்களை நான் உரைக்கிறேன்.
