पितृणां त्रिषु सर्वेषां निरुक्त कथितं त्वया । देवदूतने पूछा--पितृगण! आपलोगोंने क्रमश: पिण्डोंका विभाग बतलाया और तीनों लोकोंमें जो समस्त पितर हैं, उनको पिण्डदान करनेका शास्त्रोक्त प्रकार भी बतला दिया
pitṝṇāṃ triṣu sarveṣāṃ niruktaṃ kathitaṃ tvayā |
தேவதூதன் கூறினான்—பித்ருக்களே! மூன்று உலகங்களிலும் உள்ள எல்லாப் பித்ருக்கள் பற்றிய சாஸ்திரவழி விளக்கத்தை நீங்கள் தெளிவாக உரைத்தீர்கள். மேலும் வரிசையாக பிண்டங்களின் பகிர்வையும், பிண்டதானத்தின் சாஸ்திர விதியையும் எடுத்துரைத்தீர்கள்।
