pṛṣṭhataḥ somasaṅkāśe udarke cābhrasannibhe | dakṣiṇāyāṃ tu raktābhe adhastān nīlamaṇḍale ||
பீஷ்மர் கூறினார்—பின்புறம் நிலவின் மெல்லிய ஒளிபோல் பிரகாசித்தது; மேல்புறம் மேகக்கூட்டம் போன்றது. தெற்குப் புறம் செம்மைத் திகழ்ந்தது; கீழே கருநீல வட்டவெளி விரிந்திருந்தது.
