आप्तोयमिषु नियतमेकैकस्मिन्‌ दशाददम्‌ । गृष्टीनां क्षीरदात्रीणां रोहिणीनां शतानि च

Transliteration

āpto ’yam iṣu niyatam ekaikasmin daśādadam | gṛṣṭīnāṃ kṣīradātrīṇāṃ rohiṇīnāṃ śatāni ca ||

Translation

பகீரதன் கூறினான்—யாகங்களுக்கு விதிக்கப்பட்ட தீட்சை-விரதங்களை முறையாக ஏற்று, ஒவ்வொரு முறையும் ஒவ்வொரு பிராமணனுக்கு முதல் முறை கன்றிட்ட பால் தரும் பத்து பசுக்களையும், மேலும் ரோஹிணீ இனப் பசுக்களை நூறுகளாகவும் தானமளித்தேன்।
