Āloka-dāna (Dīpa-dāna), Sumanas–Dhūpa–Dīpa Phala: Manu–Suvarṇa and Śukra–Bali Exempla
यं यमुद्दिश्य दीयेरन् देव॑ सुमनस: प्रभो । मंगलार्थ स तेनास्य प्रीतो भवति दैत्यप
yaṁ yam uddiśya dīyeran deva-sumanasaḥ prabho | maṅgalārthaḥ sa tenāsya prīto bhavati daityapa ||
பிரபுவே! எந்த எந்த தேவனை நோக்கி மலர்கள் அளிக்கப்படுகிறதோ, அந்த தேவன் அந்த மலர்தானத்தால் தானம் செய்தவர்மேல் மிகுந்த மகிழ்ச்சி கொண்டு, அவனுடைய மங்களத்திற்காக எப்போதும் முயல்கிறான்.
