Householder Duties and Daily Offerings
अग्नीषोमं वैश्वदेवं धान्वन्तर्यमनन्तरम् । प्रजानां पतये चैव पृथग्घोमो विधीयते,पहले अग्नि और सोमको, फिर विश्वेदेवोंको, तदनन्तर धन्वन्तरिको, तत्पश्चात् प्रजापतिको पृथक्-पृथक् आहुति देनेका विधान है
agnīṣomaṃ vaiśvadevaṃ dhānvantaryam anantaram | prajānāṃ pataye caiva pṛthag homo vidhīyate ||
ஹோமத்தில் தனித்தனியாக ஆஹுதிகள் விதிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன—முதலில் அக்னி-சோமருக்கு ஒன்றாக, பின்னர் விஶ்வேதேவர்களுக்கு, அதன் பின் தன்வந்தரிக்கு, அதன்பின் பிரஜாபதிக்கு (பிராணிகளின் அதிபதிக்கு).
