Duḥṣanta–Śakuntalā: Gandharva Marriage and Succession Condition
उद्दीपितं येन वैरं भूतान्तकरणं महत् | पौलस्त्या भ्रातरश्नास्य जज्ञिरे मनुजेष्विह
uddīpitaṁ yena vairaṁ bhūtāntakaraṇaṁ mahat | paulastyā bhrātaraś cāsya jajñire manuṣeṣv iha ||
அவனாலேயே பகைமை எனும் பெருநெருப்பு தூண்டப்பட்டது—அது எண்ணற்ற உயிர்களின் அழிவுக்குக் காரணமானது. மேலும் இம்மனித உலகில் அவனுடைய சகோதரர்கள் புலஸ்த்ய வம்ச ராக்ஷசர்களாகப் பிறந்தனர்.
