Duḥṣanta–Śakuntalā: Gandharva Marriage and Succession Condition
गणात् क्रोधवशादेष राजपूगो5भवत् क्षितौ | जात: पुरा महाभागो महाकीर्तिमहाबल:
gaṇāt krodhavaśād eṣa rājapūgo 'bhavat kṣitau | jātaḥ purā mahābhāgo mahākīrtimahābalaḥ ||
வைசம்பாயனர் கூறினார்—‘க்ரோதவச’ எனப்படும் கணத்திலிருந்து இவ்வரசர் கூட்டம் ஒருகாலத்தில் பூமியில் தோன்றியது. அவர்கள் முன்னாளில் மிகுந்த பாக்கியமுடையவர்களாகவும், பெரும் புகழும் பேராற்றலும் உடையவர்களாகவும் பிறந்தனர்.
