King Duḥṣanta’s Entry into the Forest Hunt
सूर्याच्च कुन्तिकन्याया जज्ञे कर्णो महाबल: । सहजं कवचं बिश्रत् कुण्डलो द्योतितानन:
sūryācca kuntikanyāyā jajñe karṇo mahābalaḥ | sahajaṃ kavacaṃ bibhrat kuṇḍalo dyotitānanaḥ ||
சூரியனிடமிருந்தும் கன்னியான குந்தியிடமிருந்தும் மகாபலன் கர்ணன் பிறந்தான். அவன் பிறப்பிலேயே இயல்பான கவசத்தைத் தாங்கி வந்தான்; பிறப்போடு வந்த குண்டலங்களின் ஒளியால் அவன் முகம் பிரகாசித்தது.
