King Duḥṣanta’s Entry into the Forest Hunt
यष्टिं च वैणवीं तस्मै ददौ वृत्रनिषूदन: । इष्टप्रदानमुद्दिश्य शिष्टानां प्रतिपालिनीम्
yaṣṭiṁ ca vaiṇavīṁ tasmai dadau vṛtranisūdanaḥ | iṣṭapradānam uddiśya śiṣṭānāṁ pratipālinīm ||
இவ்வாறு கூறி, வ்ருத்ரனை வதைத்த இந்திரன் அரசனுக்கு அன்பளிப்பாக மூங்கில் தண்டை அளித்தான்; அது வேண்டிய வரங்களை அளிக்கும் நோக்கத்துடன், நற்பண்புடையோரைக் காக்கும் சின்னமாக இருந்தது.
