Śṛṅgī’s Curse on King Parikṣit
Parikṣit–Śṛṅgī–Takṣaka Causal Link
वायुकिरुवाच अयं शापो यथोद्दिष्टो विदितं वस्तथानघा: । तस्य शापस्य मोक्षार्थ मन्त्रयित्वा यतामहे
vāyukir uvāca: ayaṁ śāpo yathoddiṣṭo viditaṁ vaḥ tathānaghāḥ | tasya śāpasya mokṣārthaṁ mantrayitvā yatāmahe ||
வாசுகி கூறினான்—“களங்கமற்ற நாகர்களே! தாய் எவ்வாறு சாபம் உரைத்தாளோ அது உங்களுக்கெல்லாம் தெரிந்ததே. ஆகவே அந்தச் சாபத்திலிருந்து விடுதலை பெற நாம் ஆலோசித்து, தீர்விற்காக முயல்வோம்.”
