तदेतददभुतं ब्रह्मज्छा्डकाणामनामयम् | कीर्तयस्वाग्निसम्मर्दे कथं ते न विनाशिता:
tad etad adbhutaṁ brahma śāṇḍakānām anāmayam | kīrtayasva agni-sammarde kathaṁ te na vināśitāḥ ||
ஜனமேஜயன் கூறினான்—பிராமணரே! அந்தப் பயங்கரமான தீவெள்ளத்தில் சார்க்குகர்கள் சேதமின்றி தப்பியது மிக அதிசயம். தயவுசெய்து கூறுங்கள்—அக்னியின் அந்தக் கொடிய மோதலில் அவர்கள் எவ்வாறு அழிவுறவில்லை?
