अग्निभय-प्रसङ्गे मन्दपालस्य शोकः
Mandapāla’s Lament amid the Threat of Fire
आदित्यमुदके देवं निवसन्तं जलेश्वरम् । सच तच्चिन्तितं ज्ञात्वा दर्शयामास पावकम्
Vaiśampāyana uvāca | ādityam udake devaṃ nivasantaṃ jaleśvaram | sa ca tac cintitaṃ jñātvā darśayāmāsa pāvakam ||
வைசம்பாயனர் கூறினார்— அதிதியின் புதல்வனும், நீரின் அதிபதியும், நீரிலேயே வாசம் செய்பவனுமான வருணன், அக்னிதேவன் தன்னைத் தியானித்ததை அறிந்து, உடனே பாவகனுக்கு தரிசனம் அளித்தான்।
