धर्मराजे ह्ाृतिप्रीत्या पूर्णचन्द्र इवामले । प्रजानां रेमिरे तुल्यं नेत्राणि हृदयानि च
vaiśampāyana uvāca |
dharmarāje hṛtiprītyā pūrṇacandra ivāmale |
prājānāṃ remire tulyaṃ netrāṇi hṛdayāni ca ||
தர்மராஜ யுதிஷ்டிரர்மீது உள்ளத்தின் அன்பினால்—களங்கமற்ற பௌர்ணமி நிலவைப் போல—பிரஜைகள் அவரைக் கண்டவுடன் அவர்களின் கண்களும் இதயங்களும் ஒருசேர மகிழ்ந்து மலர்ந்தன. அவரது சன்னிதி மட்டுமே அனைவருக்கும் இயல்பான, ஒரேமாதிரியான ஆனந்தத்தை அளித்தது.
