एवं चतुर्मुख: स्थाणुर्महादेवो5भवत् पुरा । तथा सहसनेत्रश्न बभूव बलसूदन:,इस प्रकार पूर्वकालमें अविनाशी भगवान् महादेवजीके चार मुख प्रकट हुए और बलहन्ता इन्द्रके हजार नेत्र हुए
evaṁ caturmukhaḥ sthāṇur mahādevo ’bhavat purā | tathā sahasranetraś ca babhūva balasūdanaḥ ||
இவ்வாறு பழங்காலத்தில் நிலைத்தும் அழியாதும் உள்ள மகாதேவன் ஸ்தாணு நான்முகனாக வெளிப்பட்டான்; அதுபோல பலசூதனன் இந்திரன் ஆயிரக்கண் உடையவனானான்.
