केचिदाहुर्युवा श्रीमानू नागराजकरोपम: । पीनस्कन्धोरुबाहुश्व धैर्येण हिमवानिव

Transliteration

ke cid āhur yuvā śrīmān ū nāgarāja-karopamaḥ | pīna-skandhoru-bāhuś ca dhairyeṇa himavān iva ||

Translation

வைசம்பாயனன் கூறினான்—சில பிராமணர்கள் சொன்னார்கள்: “இந்தச் சிறப்புமிக்க அழகிய இளைஞன், நாகராஜன் ஐராவதத்தின் துதிக்கம்பைப் போல உறுதியும் வளமுமாகத் தோன்றுகிறான். அவன் தோள்கள் அகலமும் உறுதியும் உடையவை; அவன் கரங்கள் நீளமும் வலிமையும் கொண்டவை; மேலும் தைரியத்தில் அவன் இமயமலை போல் அசையாதவன்.”
