Ādi-parva, Adhyāya 187: Drupada’s Inquiry and the Dharma Debate on Draupadī’s Marriage

स तामुपादाय विजित्य रख्रे द्विजातिभिस्तैरभिपूज्यमान: । रड्भडान्निरक्रामदचिन्त्यकर्मा पत्न्या तया चाप्यनुगम्यमान:

sa tām upādāya vijitya raṅgād dvijātibhis tair abhipūjyamānaḥ | raṅgād anirakrāmad acintyakarmā patnyā tayā cāpy anugamyamānaḥ ||

அற்புதச் செயல்களைச் செய்பவன் அர்ஜுனன், ஸ்வயம்வர மண்டபத்தில் த்ரௌபதியை வென்று அவளை உடன் அழைத்துக் கொண்டு அரங்கத்திலிருந்து வெளியேறினான். மனைவியான த்ரௌபதி அவன் பின்னே தொடர்ந்து வந்தாள். அங்கு இருந்த பிராமணர்கள் அவனை மிகுந்த மரியாதையுடன் போற்றினர்.
