Vasiṣṭhasya śokaḥ, Vipāśā–Śatadrū-nāmākaraṇam, Kalmāṣapādasya bhaya-prasaṅgaḥ (Ādi Parva 167)
स च पुत्रो महावीर्यो महातेजा महाबल: । इष्यते यद्विधो राजन् भविता ते तथाविध:
sa ca putro mahāvīryo mahātejā mahābalaḥ | iṣyate yadvidho rājan bhavitā te tathāvidhaḥ ||
அவர் மேலும் கூறினார்—“அரசே! இந்த யாகத்தால் நீ விரும்பும் வகையிலேயே உனக்கு மகன் பிறப்பான். அவன் மாபெரும் வீரத்துடன், மாபெரும் ஒளியுடன், மாபெரும் வலத்துடன் இருப்பான்.”
