पुरोहितांश्व पौरांक्ष गान्धारीं च यशस्विनीम्‌ | युधिष्ठिर: शनैर्दीन उवाचेदं वचस्तदा

vaiśampāyana uvāca |

purohitāṃś ca paurāṃś ca gāndhārīṃ ca yaśasvinīm |

yudhiṣṭhiraḥ śanair dīna uvācedaṃ vacas tadā ||

வைசம்பாயனர் கூறினார்—அப்போது யுதிஷ்டிரன் புரோகிதர்களையும் நகரவாசிகளையும், மேலும் புகழ்மிக்க ராணி காந்தாரி தேவியையும் நோக்கி, துயரத்துடன் தாழ்மையாய் மெதுவாக இவ்வார்த்தைகளைச் சொன்னான்.
