भीमस्य जलान्वेषणं तथा वनविश्रान्तिः

तत उत्सृज्य तच्चापमाददानं शरावरम् । खड्गमुद्धृत्य कौन्तेय: सिंहनादमथाकरोत्
tata utsṛjya tac cāpam ādadānaṃ śarāvaram | khaḍgam uddhṛtya kaunteyaḥ siṃhanādam athākarot ||
பின்னர் அந்த வெட்டப்பட்ட வில்லைத் தள்ளிவிட்டு, மற்றொரு விலும் அம்புத்தொகுப்பும் எடுக்க முயன்றபோது, குந்தியின் மகன் அர்ஜுனன் வாளை இழுத்து சிங்கம் போல் கர்ஜித்தான்.
