द्रोण उदाच वारयैतौ महावीरयों कृतयोग्यावुभावपि । मा भूद्‌ रज्भप्रकोपो5यं भीमदुर्योधनोद्धव:

vaiśampāyana uvāca |

droṇa uvāca—vārayaitau mahāvīrau kṛtayogyāv ubhāv api |

mā bhūd raṅgaprakopo ’yaṃ bhīmaduryodhanodbhavaḥ ||

துரோணர் கூறினார்—மகனே! இவ்விருவரும் மகாவீரர்கள்; இருவரும் போருக்கு முற்றிலும் தகுதியும் பயிற்சியும் பெற்றவர்கள். இவர்களைத் தடுத்து நிறுத்து; பீமன்–துரியோதனன் காரணமாக அரங்கில் கோபத்தால் கலகம் எழாதிருக்கட்டும்.
