Droṇa’s Ācārya-Dakṣiṇā: Capture of Drupada and Division of Pāñcāla (द्रोण-आचार्यदक्षिणा)
जल तच्छुशुभे छन्न॑ फुल्लैर्जलरुहैस्तथा । उपच्छन्ना वसुमती तथा पुष्पैर्यथर्तुकै:
jala-tacchuśubhe channaṁ phullair jalaruhaiḥ tathā | upacchannā vasumatī tathā puṣpair yathārtukaiḥ ||
அங்குள்ள நீர் மலர்ந்த தாமரைகளால் மூடப்பட்டு மிக அழகாகத் தோன்றியது. அதுபோலவே பருவத்திற்கேற்ற மலர்ந்து உதிர்ந்த பூக்களால் நிலமும் போர்த்தப்பட்டிருந்தது.
