तद् दृष्टवा महदाश्चर्य विस्मिता मुनिसत्तमा: । अधिकां सम ततो वृत्तिमवर्तन् पाण्डवान् प्रति
tad dṛṣṭvā mahad āścaryaṃ vismitā munisattamāḥ | adhikāṃ sma tato vṛttim avartan pāṇḍavān prati ||
அந்த மாபெரும் அதிசயத்தைப் பார்த்து முனிவர்களில் சிறந்தோர் வியப்பில் ஆழ்ந்தனர். அந்நாள்முதல் பாண்டவர்களிடத்தில் அவர்களுடைய மனநிலை மேலும் உகந்ததாக—அன்பும் மரியாதையும் நிறைந்ததாக—மாறியது.
