The Birth of Kṛpa and Kṛpī; Kṛpa’s Attainment of Astras
अमावास्यां तु सहिता ऋषय: संशितव्रता: । ब्रह्माणं द्रष्टकामास्ते सम्प्रतस्थुर्महर्षय:
amāvāsyāṃ tu sahitā ṛṣayaḥ saṃśitavratāḥ | brahmāṇaṃ draṣṭukāmās te sampratasthur maharṣayaḥ ||
அமாவாசை நாளில் கடுமையான விரதங்களால் கட்டுப்பட்ட பல ரிஷி-மகரிஷிகள் ஒன்றுகூடினர். பிரம்மாவை தரிசிக்க வேண்டும் என்ற விருப்பத்தால் அந்த மகரிஷிகள் பிரம்மலோகத்திற்குப் புறப்பட்டனர்.
