The Birth of Kṛpa and Kṛpī; Kṛpa’s Attainment of Astras
पितृदेवर्षिमनुजैददेयं तेभ्यश्व धर्मत: । एतानि तु यथाकालं यो न बुध्यति मानव:
Vaiśaṃpāyana uvāca: pitṛ-devarṣi-manujaiḥ dade yaṃ tebhyaś ca dharmataḥ | etāni tu yathākālaṃ yo na budhyati mānavaḥ ||
வைசம்பாயனர் கூறினார்— தர்மப்படி பித்ருக்கள், தேவர்கள், ரிஷிகள், மனிதர்கள்—இவர்களுக்கு உரியதை வழங்க வேண்டும். ஆனால் காலத்திற்கேற்றபடி இக் கடமைகளை உணராத மனிதனுக்கு புண்ணிய உலகங்கள் எளிதில் கிடையாது.
