भीष्मस्य चास्य वचनान्नियोगाच्च ममानघ । अनुक्रोशाच्च भूतानां सर्वेषां रक्षणाय च
bhīṣmasya cāsya vacanān niyogāc ca mamānagha | anukrośāc ca bhūtānāṃ sarveṣāṃ rakṣaṇāya ca ||
ஓ குற்றமற்றவனே! பீஷ்மனின் சொல்லுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிந்தும் என் ஆணையின்படியும், மேலும் எல்லா உயிர்களின்மேல் கருணையாலும் அனைவரையும் காக்கும் பொருட்டும் இது மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்டது.
