Kuru Prosperity under Bhīṣma and the Succession of Pāṇḍu (कुरुराष्ट्रसमृद्धिः पाण्डुराज्यप्राप्तिश्च)
स हत्वा तु नरश्रेष्ठं चित्राड्बदमरिंदमम् । अन्ताय कृत्वा गन्धर्वो दिवमाचक्रमे तत:,शत्रुओंका दमन करनेवाले नरश्रेष्ठ चित्रांगवको मारकर युद्ध समाप्त करके वह गन्धर्व स्वर्गलोकमें चला गया
sa hatvā tu naraśreṣṭhaṃ citrāṅgadaṃ arindamam | antāya kṛtvā gandharvo divam ācakrame tataḥ ||
பகைவரை அடக்கும் நரசிறந்த சித்ராங்கதனை வதைத்து, போரை முடிவுக்குக் கொண்டு வந்து, அந்தக் கந்தர்வன் பின்னர் ஸ்வர்க்கலோகத்திற்குச் சென்றான்।
