व्यपोहनस्तवनिरूपण-प्रसङ्गे नक्तभोजन-शिवव्रतविधिः (वार्षिक-प्रतिमास-क्रमः)

वृषभं नीलवर्णाभम् उरोदेशसमुन्नतम् गां च दत्त्वा यथान्यायम् ऐशानं लोकमाप्नुयात्

vṛṣabhaṃ nīlavarṇābham urodeśasamunnatam gāṃ ca dattvā yathānyāyam aiśānaṃ lokamāpnuyāt

முறையாக கருநீல நிறம் கொண்ட, அகலமும் உயரமும் பெற்ற மார்புடைய வृषபத்தையும் பசுவையும் தானம் செய்தால்—ஐசான லோகத்தை அடைவான்; அங்கு ஈசானன் பதி ரூபமாக பாசங்களைத் தளர்த்துவான்।
