देव्यः शिवार्चनरता व्यपोहन्तु मलं मम अर्कः सोमो ऽङ्गारकश् च बुधश्चैव बृहस्पतिः

Transliteration

devyaḥ śivārcanaratā vyapohantu malaṃ mama arkaḥ somo 'ṅgārakaś ca budhaścaiva bṛhaspatiḥ

Translation

சிவார்ச்சனையில் ஈடுபட்ட தெய்வீக சக்திகள் என் மாசை அகற்றட்டும்—அர்க்கன் (சூரியன்), சோமன் (சந்திரன்), அங்காரகன் (செவ்வாய்), புதன், வியாழன் (பிருஹஸ்பதி) எனைத் தூய்மைப்படுத்தட்டும்।
