आत्मज्ञानाम्भसि स्नात्वा सकृदालिप्य भावतः सुवैराग्यमृदा शुद्धः शौचमेवं प्रकीर्तितम्
ātmajñānāmbhasi snātvā sakṛdālipya bhāvataḥ suvairāgyamṛdā śuddhaḥ śaucamevaṃ prakīrtitam
ஆத்மஞானம் என்னும் நீரில் நீராடி, உள்ளார்ந்த பக்தி-நோக்குடன் ஒருமுறை அகத்தில் பூசிக்கொண்டால், உயர்ந்த வைராக்யம் என்னும் மண்ணால் சுத்தமடைவான்; இதுவே சௌசம் எனப் புகழப்படுகிறது.
