श्रीदेव उवाच शक्ते पश्य सुतं बालम् आनन्दास्राविलेक्षणम् अदृश्यन्तीं च विप्रेन्द्र वसिष्ठं पितरं तव

Transliteration

śrīdeva uvāca śakte paśya sutaṃ bālam ānandāsrāvilekṣaṇam adṛśyantīṃ ca viprendra vasiṣṭhaṃ pitaraṃ tava

Translation

ஸ்ரீதேவன் கூறினான்—ஓ சக்தியே, உன் மகனான அந்தக் குழந்தையைப் பார்; அவன் கண்கள் ஆனந்தக் கண்ணீரால் நிரம்பியுள்ளன. மேலும், ஓ பிராமணச் சிறந்தவனே, பார்—உன் தந்தை வசிஷ்டர் இனி காணப்படவில்லை.
