Suta Goswami
It highlights the devotional foundations of Linga-pūjā—humble reverence (avanati/pranāma) and truthful glorification (satya-kīrtana) as means that please the Pati (Lord Śiva) and sanctify worship.
By stressing joy arising from satya-kīrtana, it points to Shiva-tattva as gracious and responsive to sincere bhakti—where truth, humility, and inner purity loosen pasha (bondage) for the pashu (soul).
Pranāma (deep bowing/prostration) and stuti (praise) are emphasized; in a Shaiva-Pāśupata frame, these cultivate humility and sattva, preparing the aspirant for disciplined worship and yogic restraint.
