विष्णुरुवाच—एकाक्षर-प्रणव-लिङ्ग-व्याप्ति-शिवस्तोत्रम्
वामाय वामदेवाय वरदायामृताय ते अघोरायातिघोराय सद्योजाताय रंहसे
vāmāya vāmadevāya varadāyāmṛtāya te aghorāyātighorāya sadyojātāya raṃhase
உமக்கு வணக்கம்—அழகிய (வாம) வாமதேவருக்கு; வரம் அளிப்பவரும் அமிர்தஸ்வரூபனுமான உமக்கு. அோரனுக்கும் அதிோரனுக்கும், விரைவாகச் செயல்படும் ஸத்யோஜாதனுக்கும் நமஸ்காரம்.
