Iśvara-Gītā Prelude
तस्माद् भवन्तं पृच्छामः पुराणं कौर्ममुत्तमम् / वक्तुमर्हसि चास्माकं पुराणार्थविशारद
tasmād bhavantaṃ pṛcchāmaḥ purāṇaṃ kaurmamuttamam / vaktumarhasi cāsmākaṃ purāṇārthaviśārada
ஆகையால் உம்மிடம் சிறந்த கூர்ம புராணத்தைப் பற்றி கேட்கிறோம். புராணார்த்தத்தில் தேர்ந்தவரே, எங்களுக்கு அதை விளக்கி உரைக்கத் தகுதியானவர் நீரே.
