एवं स्तुत्वा स रुद्रस्तु तूष्णीमास द्विजोत्तमः / शेषानन्तरजा देवी वारुणी वाक्यमब्रवीत्
evaṃ stutvā sa rudrastu tūṣṇīmāsa dvijottamaḥ / śeṣānantarajā devī vāruṇī vākyamabravīt
ஏ இருபிறப்பில் சிறந்தவரே! இவ்வாறு ஸ்துதி செய்து ருத்ரன் மௌனமானான். பின்னர் சேஷன், அனந்தன் ஆகியோருக்குப் பின் பிறந்த தேவியான வாருணி இவ்வார்த்தைகளை உரைத்தாள்.
