मृणालगौरायतशेषभोग- पर्यङ्क एकं पुरुषं शयानम् । फणातपत्रायुतमूर्धरत्न- द्युभिर्हतध्वान्तयुगान्ततोये ॥ २३ ॥

mṛṇāla-gaurāyata-śeṣa-bhoga- paryaṅka ekaṁ puruṣaṁ śayānam phaṇātapatrāyuta-mūrdha-ratna- dyubhir hata-dhvānta-yugānta-toye

Translation

பிரம்மா கண்டார்: யுகாந்தப் பெருவெள்ள நீர்மேல், மிருணாளம் போல் வெண்மையான, சேஷநாகத்தின் விரிந்த உடலெனும் படுக்கையில், ஒரே பரமபுருஷனாகிய பகவான் சயனித்திருந்தார். சேஷனின் பாம்புத் தலைகளில் பதிந்த மணிகளின் ஒளி அந்த இடத்தின் இருளை அகற்றியது.
