The Kingdom of God (Vaikuṇṭha) and the Curse of Jaya and Vijaya
ते वा अमुष्य वदनासितपद्मकोश- मुद्वीक्ष्य सुन्दरतराधरकुन्दहासम् । लब्धाशिष: पुनरवेक्ष्य तदीयमङ्घ्रि- द्वन्द्वं नखारुणमणिश्रयणं निदध्यु: ॥ ४४ ॥
te vā amuṣya vadanāsita-padma-kośam udvīkṣya sundaratarādhara-kunda-hāsam labdhāśiṣaḥ punar avekṣya tadīyam aṅghri- dvandvaṁ nakhāruṇa-maṇi-śrayaṇaṁ nidadhyuḥ
அவர்கள் ஆண்டவனின் முகத்தை நீலத் தாமரை மொட்டின் உள்ள்பகுதி போலக் கண்டனர்; மேலும் அவரது மிக அழகிய உதடுகளில் குந்தமலர் போல மலர்ந்த புன்னகையையும் பார்த்தனர். அந்த தரிசனத்தால் நிறைவு பெற்ற அவர்கள், இன்னும் காண விரும்பி, அவரது திருவடிகளின் நகங்களை நோக்கினர்—அவை செம்மாணிக்கம் போல் ஒளிர்ந்தன. இவ்வாறு மீண்டும் மீண்டும் ஆண்டவனின் தெய்வீக உடலைக் கண்டு, இறுதியில் அவரது தனிப்பட்ட ரூபத்தில் தியானத்தில் நிலைத்தனர்.
