सकृदिष्ट्वादिपुरुषं पुरुषो याति साम्यताम् । संवत्सरं किञ्चिदूनं दित्या यद्धरिरर्चित: ॥ ६६ ॥ सजूरिन्द्रेण पञ्चाशद्देवास्ते मरुतोऽभवन् । व्यपोह्य मातृदोषं ते हरिणा सोमपा: कृता: ॥ ६७ ॥
sakṛd iṣṭvādi-puruṣaṁ puruṣo yāti sāmyatām saṁvatsaraṁ kiñcid ūnaṁ dityā yad dharir arcitaḥ
இந்திரனுடன் இணைந்து அந்த நாற்பத்தொன்பது மருதர்கள் தேவர்களுக்கு ஒப்பானவர்களாயினர். பகவான் ஹரி அவர்களின் தாய்சார் குற்றத்தை நீக்கி, அவர்களை சோமபான தேவர்களாக ஆக்கினார். ஆகவே திதியின் கர்ப்பத்தில் பிறந்தவர்களாயினும், பரமனின் கருணையால் தேவர்சமமாக ஆனதில் ஆச்சரியம் என்ன?
