रहूगण त्वमपि ह्यध्वनोऽस्य सन्न्यस्तदण्ड: कृतभूतमैत्र: । असज्जितात्मा हरिसेवया शितं ज्ञानासिमादाय तरातिपारम् ॥ २० ॥

Transliteration

rahūgaṇa tvam api hy adhvano ’sya sannyasta-daṇḍaḥ kṛta-bhūta-maitraḥ asaj-jitātmā hari-sevayā śitaṁ jñānāsim ādāya tarāti-pāram

Translation

ஓ ரஹூகணா! நீயும் இவ்விஷய ஈர்ப்பின் பாதையில் வெளிச்சக்தியால் பாதிக்கப்பட்டவனே. ஆகவே எல்லா ஜீவர்களுக்கும் சமமான நண்பனாக ஆகும்படி—அரசுப் பதவியையும் தண்டத்தையும் விட்டு விடு. விஷய ஆசையைத் துறந்து, ஹரி-சேவையால் கூர்மையடைந்த ஞான வாளை ஏற்று; அப்பொழுது மாயையின் கடின முடிச்சை வெட்டி அறியாமைக் கடலைக் கடக்க முடியும்।
