devānīkas tato ’nīhaḥ pāriyātro ’tha tat-sutaḥ tato balasthalas tasmād vajranābho ’rka-sambhavaḥ

க்ஷேமதன்வாவின் மகன் தேவானீகன்; தேவானீகனின் மகன் அனீஹன்; அனீஹனின் மகன் பாரியாத்ரன்; பாரியாத்ரனின் மகன் பலஸ்தலன்; பலஸ்தலனின் மகன் வஜ்ரநாபன், அவன் சூரியதேவனின் ஒளித்தேஜஸிலிருந்து பிறந்தவன் எனக் கூறப்படுகிறது।
