Brahmā’s Day, the Four Pralayas, and the Supreme Shelter Beyond Cause–Effect
यथा घनोऽर्कप्रभवोऽर्कदर्शितो ह्यर्कांशभूतस्य च चक्षुषस्तम: । एवं त्वहं ब्रह्मगुणस्तदीक्षितो ब्रह्मांशकस्यात्मन आत्मबन्धन: ॥ ३२ ॥
yathā ghano ’rka-prabhavo ’rka-darśito hy arkāṁśa-bhūtasya ca cakṣuṣas tamaḥ evaṁ tv ahaṁ brahma-guṇas tad-īkṣito brahmāṁśakasyātmana ātma-bandhanaḥ
மேகம் சூரியனிலிருந்து தோன்றி சூரியனால் தான் காணப்படினும், சூரியனின் அங்கமான கண்களுக்கு இருளை உண்டாக்குகிறது. அதுபோல, பரப்ரம்மத்திலிருந்து தோன்றி அதனால் தான் வெளிப்படும் பொருட் அஹங்காரம், பரப்ரம்மத்தின் அங்கமான ஜீவாத்மாவை பரப்ரம்ம உணர்விலிருந்து தடுக்கிறது.
