यां विसृज्यैव मनवस्तत्सुताश्च कुरूद्वह । गता यथागतं युद्धे तां मां जेष्यन्त्यबुद्धय: ॥ ६ ॥

Transliteration

yāṁ visṛjyaiva manavas tat-sutāś ca kurūdvaha gatā yathāgataṁ yuddhe tāṁ māṁ jeṣyanty abuddhayaḥ

Translation

ஓ குருவம்சச் சிறந்தவரே! முன்பு மனுக்கள் மற்றும் அவர்களின் சந்ததியினர் என்னை விட்டுச் சென்றனர்; வந்தபடியே போரில் உதவியற்றவர்களாகப் போயினர். ஆனாலும் இன்றும் அறிவிலிகள் என்னை வெல்ல முயல்கிறார்கள்.
