Kṛṣṇa Teases Rukmiṇī; Her Devotional Reply and the Lord’s Assurance
पदा सुजातेन नखारुणश्रिया भुवं लिखन्त्यश्रुभिरञ्जनासितै: । आसिञ्चती कुङ्कुमरूषितौ स्तनौ तस्थावधोमुख्यतिदु:खरुद्धवाक् ॥ २३ ॥
padā su-jātena nakhāruṇa-śrīyā bhuvaṁ likhanty aśrubhir añjanāsitaiḥ āsiñcatī kuṅkuma-rūṣitau stanau tasthāv adho-mukhy ati-duḥkha-ruddha-vāk
நகங்களின் செம்மை ஒளியால் மிளிரும் தன் மென்மையான பாதத்தால் அவள் தரையைச் சுரண்டினாள். மை கருமையால் இருண்ட கண்ணீர், குங்குமம் சிவந்த மார்புகளில் தெறித்தது. தலை குனிந்து நின்றாள்; பேர்துயரால் குரல் அடைத்தது.
